Kit My Home offers selected products at reduced prices due to packaging damage, cosmetic imperfections, or other disclosed conditions. These products are clearly identified on the product page and may be classified under a grading system.
Product Condition
The condition of each Box Damaged or Graded product is detailed on the product page, including descriptions and, where possible, supporting images.. While every effort is made to accurately represent the condition of each item, customers are encouraged to review all product information carefully before completing their purchase.
Returns
We aim to provide complete transparency and a fair buying experience.
Returns will be accepted under the following circumstances:
- The incorrect item was supplied.
- The item arrives with damage or defects that were not clearly disclosed on the product page.
- The item is faulty and qualifies for a return in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
Change of mind returns
We understand that sometimes you may change your mind after receiving your order.
Returns for this reason may be accepted at our discretion, provided that:
- The request is logged within 5 days of delivery
- The item is still in its original packaging, unused and in the same condition as received
A handling and collection fee of 5% of the total purchase price will will apply to all approved non-defective returns. This fee covers logistics, inspection, and restocking costs and will be deducted from the refund amount.
Please note:
Returns will not be accepted solely for cosmetic issues or packaging damage that were clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.
Warranty
All Box Damaged and Graded products sold by Kit My Home include a 6-month limited warranty from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects and functional faults arising during normal use of the product.
The warranty does not cover:
- Cosmetic defects, scratches, dents, marks, or packaging damage disclosed prior to purchase.
- Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, improper installation, accidents, or unauthorized repairs.
- Normal wear and tear.
All warranty claims will be assessed inline with the product grading and condition described at the time of sale.
This warranty is provided in addition to any rights under applicable South African consumer protection legislation.
Customer Acknowledgement
By purchasing a Box Damaged or Graded product, the customer acknowledges and accepts the condition of the item as described at the time of purchase, including any disclosed imperfections.
